About and privacy
Linear Algebra Foundations is a free, beginner-only introduction to vectors and matrices. It covers eight topics and stops there on purpose.

- There are no accounts, adverts, trackers or analytics.
- Questions are generated in your browser. Your answers are checked in your browser and never sent anywhere.
- By default, progress is kept in this browser tab only and disappears when the tab closes. You can choose to keep it on this device, or to keep nothing at all, in Settings.
- You can download your progress as a file, or clear it completely, at any time.
How questions are checked
Every question is built from whole numbers and checked exactly. Each question has a code, such as
vec-add/A/1234/v1.0.0, that recreates it precisely. If you think a question is wrong, that code is
everything needed to look into it. Before release, the generator is tested on 10,000 questions for every skill
and level, each compared against an independent calculation.
Built with
Astro and Preact (MIT licence). Fonts are your device’s own, so nothing is downloaded from font services. The project’s own code is released under the Apache License 2.0. It was written independently, using the RandMatQuGeA project (Apache 2.0) only as a reference for ideas; no code was copied from it.
